Sepertinya, belum banyak wisatawan yang mengetahui keberadaan Pulau Tunda di Kecamatan Tirtayasa, Serang, Banten. Hal ini terlihat dari keadaan alamnya yang masih alami. Padahal, Pulau Tunda juga memiliki kelebihan keindahan alam yang memesona.
Keindahan bawah lautnya masih alami. Terumbu karang dan biota lautnya sangat beragam. Anda mau melihat lumba-lumba? Si lumba-lumba pun siap menghampiri dermaga Pulau Tunda di pagi hari. Wow!
Kurangnya pengelolaan Pulau Tunda menjadi salah satu penyebab wisatawan kurang mengenal pulau ini. Sarana listrik yang masih terbatas, sinyal ponsel yang susah, dan transportasi yang terbatas menjadi sebagian kesulitan fasilitas yang ada di tempat ini wisata pulau tidung.
Untuk mencapai Pulau Tunda, wisatawan bisa melakukan perjalanan melalui Tol Kebon Jeruk-Merak dan keluar di pintu Tol Serang Timur. Kemudian perjalanan dilanjutkan ke dermaga kecil bernama Karang Hantu.

Bicarakan segala kebutuhan yang kita perlukan termasuk untuk persediaan umpan. Umpan yang biasa digunakan adalah cumi, maka pesanlah 5-10 kg cumi dan sedikit udang api2 (hijau).

Hai kawan, ternyata di laut sana masih banyak ikan-ikan atau sebangsanya yang memiliki ukuran yang luar biasa besar, jauh lebih besar daripada hewan-hewan laut dengan ukuran normal yang pernah kita lihat. Aku bahkan merasa beruntung belum pernah bertemu secara langsung dengan ikan terbesar beserta kawan-kawannya ini, sewaktu berenang atau bermain-main di laut. Aku pasti ketakutan setengah mati kalau benar-benar ketemu dengan mereka, makhluk laut bersisik atau berlendir berukuran besar ini, bahkan kalaupun mereka benar-benar tidak berbahaya.
